CafePress [12 Feb 2007|04:57am]
As a minor celebration to the revival (and subsequent load of work XD) of Sublunary, I invite everyone to take a look at our CafePress store. A few of the product designs will be limited, so if you want that mousepad, clock or sticker you'd best be hopping over soon before I trade out the designs for some new ones or the opposite team ^^

Anyone with questions on the revival of the comic (in novel form) should see the previous entry where I explain things and comment there ^_^

Yes Sublunary is still holding on by its claws. Yes I, Reena, am still here. Ever faithful....or rather just ball and chained to a project till its death XD At least I'm determined!

So, in the journal will be the following:

1. Explanation of Drama/Rumours in the summer
2. Sublunary's continuance
3. Character changeover

1. Drama/Rumours

-Ok, let me just say this is a long story e.e The abridged version consists of Subby being approached for publication. Legitimate, deadtree format, company, etc. We could have possibly become an anime series. Of course, we were excited. We had started work on comics once mroe and even finished a few new pages (what I'm doing with these NOW I don't know) but we halted during the time I was negotiating the conditions of our signing. Lots of negotiations. Skip long boring parts here and suffice to say the contract did not turn out to our benefit and wouldn't have helped Sublunary at all, and so we let it slide. SO yes, Sublunary WAS going to be published, but due to the terms of the contract I thought it would be better not to. I won't go into any more detail than that, but those who know me (or have at least been here a while) know how closely I value my characters and story, and this comic (despite that it's like a damned zombie and won't die! XD) and so turning down the contract was definately for the best. I have no regrets there.

2. Continuing?

-Yes. Sublunary will be continuing UNDER SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES. For various reasons this project is mine and mine alone now. Sublunary will be done no where else by anyone else without my express written permission (nonprofit fanwork excepted ^^ give us artses/ficses!). That being said, Sublunary cannot possibly be continued in comic form. Yes, believe me, I'm very sorry for this as it was originally visualized as a comic. Regardless I AM a writer, and write I can do. Sort of >.> So I will be converting the rest of the story to novel format.

What does this mean?

Sublunary books will be avaliable on www.Lulu.com for purchase by fans. Lulu is a site much like CafePress (don't forget the subby merchandise still avaliable on CafePress Sublunary!) but for books. They are reliable and secure and while I would normally scorn self publishing, it suits perfectly for Sublunary in this case, as I never intend to have this professionally done ^_^ In the future a deadtree format of the comics may even make its way to Lulu depending on the success of the novels.

Why am I charging? Because this has become a one-person project and as such the work for me has gone up considerably. Sublunary was capable of making a profit in many ways before, but now those ways are limited. While my pricing for the books will be fair I would still like compensation for taking time out of the novels I'm currently writing (with intent to publish) to finish this up on my own ^^ If you disagree with this, then you really don't have to buy the books. However, I will probably enforce a rule to keep my profits fair and the books coming somewhat regularly. Something along the lines of "Next book comes out once 20 have been sold!" Or somesuch. Prices may increase or decrease based on demand. Yes, this all sounds horrible, but this is what's going to have to be done for Sublunary to continue.

As for when? Not sure right now, but I'm working on detailed outlines so far. Work has begun ^^ Ideally I'll work fast enough to get the first one out before June (with much fanfair and whatnot) but I AM in university, so we'll see how the academic gods decide to rule this term.

I'm looking at how likely illustrations will be in the books. They'd be limited to simple little comic strips, layouts (of the bases, etc) or simple character headshots. These would be extras in the books, as well as world background, or possibly character drabbles that are cannon but don't fit in the main storyline. Extras ^^

3. Character Changeover

-I've acquired the rights to the following of Sarah's characters that appear in Subby:

-Robyn
-Cyan
-Eekie
-Malvet
-Zenji

What does this mean? \o.o/ not much other than their owners have changed. Designs are still (c) to her, any changes made henceforth are mine (not that I'm planning any....*makes Cyan blonde* XD)

Yes I know we've been lax with giving you guys news. Apologies. Suffice to say we're in the middle of something rather large in terms of Subby and so while we HAD begun working on it once again, we called a halt to it in order to give this new oppourtunity our full attention.

Rest assured this could be incredible news for Subby.

Now while we were working we did manage to complete a few pages. I'll put those up here eventually, just so they don't go unappreciated. This doesn't mean there will be any following comics, or that we'll stick to an update scheduale, just that we finished a few and had to stop because of this BIG THING that we need to devote our attention to.

Yes I'm being vague. Content yourselves with guesses ^_^ A few people know what's up, but I've threatened them with pointy things should they release news to the public.

Now, while there is no comic currently, it doesn't mean we're not doing things with it or for it. We are. They're big and important. We expect your support once we make the announcement, and we'll NEED your support if we're going to succeed.

So hold tight and start some rumours ^_^

Before it was buried on the tagboard a few of you might have noticed the announcement that Torso has given an interview to the Toronto Star featuring Sublunary for an article on the recent development of the yaoi subculture. Or something to that effect. The article is schedualed to print on May 7th in The Toronto Star. So be sure to pick up a copy. If Torso and I are unable to scan it right away I'm sure someone will be kind enough to ^_^

Now to answer a few questions (despite how impolitely they may or may not have been asked):
1. Yes I have been credited with my role, thanks for making that important. It was the first thing I asked too ^^;;
2. There will be a picture, hopefully eaturing both of us but possibly only Torso. Not sure as of yet.
3. Torso found out about the interest and contacted the interviewer, and was in turn interviewed. Unfortunatly Subby is not famous enough (yet) that we were approached. I make it the goal of the fans to change that.

Also, to clear up a few more things I've answered often in PMs:
-No, we will not have an artist table at this AN. AN's registration scheme is royally screwed up this year, IMO, and I'm actually somewhat happy we managed to escape it despite our personal troubles that prevented registration in the first place. Hopefully they'll get their act together for next year, when we may have a table once again. CNAnime in August is still undecided...or even talked of. I'll make a note to talk about that with her.
-Yes, as far as I know we will both be attending the con despite not having a table. We already have a hotel room, of course. If there are cosplayers please comment here, we'll get together for a shoot at some point or another.
-Yes we're discussing the future of the comic. No, I can't tell you what that future is yet. Behave, be nice, and maybe you'll be rewarded. Remember, we'll want to return to it more if people aren't tearing off each other's limbs verbally on the tagboard. It's looking hopeful, and that's all you'll get from me for now.

And now for a note from our sponsers our artist:
"Obviously I've been missing in Sublunary action for quite some time now, but I had my reasons for leaving, just as I have my reasons for coming back. Ree and I were going through a really rough patch, and it was extremely hard on me. When you're depressed, it screws up a lot in your life, and that turn continues to make you more depressed. The last thing I wanted to deal with was more conflict through the comic and with Reena.
Things are clearing up, slowly, since we're working our way forward slowly. We both want to continue the comic, because I do love it very much, regardless of the stress it's caused me. I want to see and show all the plot twists we have in store, I want to finish it and know we've done something that has been enjoyed by so many people.
So, yes, I will start coming back here, and although I didn't intend to start a flamewar I suppose it can't be helped -_-; "

And back to me: Guys, please TRY not to start issues, alright? We, as in us, as in your artist and writer, are precariously balanced right now. We're doing the best we can to make us work and clean up our issues. Try not to be rude on the tagboard and give us more stress. You've been supportive, a whole lot of you. I know it's selfish to keep asking for more support, but if you're willing then we could really use it. If you don't want to support us, just wait quietly. Thanks again guys.

Comic Status [08 Apr 2006|02:57pm]
After the four or five months of absolute hell, things are starting to calm down and work themselves out bit by bit. It's not a quick process by any means, and there's a lot of personal stuff to work on before we start thinking about the comic in any serious way.

What this means for the comic is that there is a possibility it may continue in its current form. The updates may drop to two a week instead of three, or three every other week, we don't know. We don't even know if or when we will start working on it again, just that we would like for it to continue.

So we'll spend a bit of time working through our stuff, then once we are settled, we might look at the comic again and make some decisions on it. Here's to hoping for the best with it, but RL comes first ^^ Thanks for sticking around, those that are.

opposing opinions [11 Feb 2006|05:20am]
Now, it's come to my attention that Sarah has posted a piece in her journal on one of her art sites requesting opinions on my request of her. Several people IMd me to mention that it wasn't reaching a lot of Sublunary fans where it was posted and asked me to post it here. She posted the following:

"I have stopped drawing for Sublunary since it's author does not wish to work with an artist and because I do not have the time for it right now.

Reena has asked me to not upload anything Sublunary related. Which I have deemed fair, if not a little strict.

However, she has also asked me to not upload any art of MY characters in their non Subby personas. Might I remind you all that Eekie, Cyan, Robyn, Cantor, FS ex. ALL exsisted long before Sublunary was concieved.

So, as I think she is unfair in asking this and she think she has every right, since seeing A picture of Eekie or Robyn would be too distracting... what do you think? "

Poll suggestions were:

"She has no right.
She has the right.
I don't know what to believe."

As my side has already been explained in the previous post, I'd like to post her side here, where Subby fans will actually have an oppourtunity to comment on it.

I will just say that I disagree entirely with the first half of the first sentence. I admit I do not want to work with another artist, but I never said I didn't want to work with her. I would like us to be on even ground if we ever continue the comic, as a personal relationship (whether it be friends or more) is more important than a comic. Also, I do not think I have 'every right' to keep her from uploading her characters, I simply asked. My side is explained in full in the previous post, as was the statement that I would work around this since she disagreed to it and didn't offer suggestions.

So here it is for Sublunary fans to have an opinion on as she wished, with both sides of the story. I'm not trying to invite drama, I'm trying to help her get a view from the fan perspective. As I already stated, I would work around her disagreement with my suggestion so as far as I'm concerned this is pretty moot, but she wants opinions. As always, please be civil in the comments, this isn't a flame war nor should it be. Simply state your opinion for her and if need be, your reasons why.

[09 Feb 2006|08:20pm]
Ok, a few things are being repeatedly asked and answered, so to save my sanity, here they are:

1. Are Fanfiction and fanart ok?
YES. They are. I adore Fanfiction and fanart. That people would spend so much time on this amazes me, and I love it. They're fine, perfectly Ok. Just credit the characters/plot/whatever wherever you post it, and pelase post it in the forums so I and other fans can see it and praise it.
BUT I do not condone RP of my characters.
Yes, this is entirely different than fanfiction. I do not condone RP of my characters simply because they are MINE to RP. You don't know them well enough to be able to RP them anyway, and that's not intending to be rude. What you've seen of them is only a small portion of who they are. Fanfiction is different, but RP requires knowing a character well enough to gauge their responses and knowledge of their background. You don't know them that well, and even after the story is done you won't, simply because they are mine. I advocate making your own original characters (please don't copy mine or Sarahs, though I can't say her opinion on the above) and your own original world and RPing therein. Why? Because having your OWN creations and knowing them completely is so much better than playing with others.
So in conclusion: Fanfics/fanart/songs/animations/pixel dolls/etc GOOD. Please post them in the forums so I can actually see them and feel all happy, and please credit.
RP/Copying/Theft BAD. Please just save yourself the trouble and don't. I can't stop you from RPing, but I'd really rather you didn't please.

2. Would you consider another artist?
No. It wouldn't happen. The original artist owns half of the characters. For one, I don't believe it's fair for her to bow out and leave her work to someone else. For another, I will not trust some random person, no matter how good a fan they are, unless I know them very very very well...meaning they're not a random person. I'd have to entrust them with the story, with the entire lit of secrets and twists, and with the ability to draw reliably and on time. As I couldn't trust the original artist to do this, despite the fact we were sleeping with each other and occasionally that meant I had a bargaining chip (though it hardly ever worked) I'm not going to entrust ALL of this onto a random person. If by chance someone IS capable of doing four comics a week on a consistant basis, no 'I don't feel like it' blurbs or anything, and I like their style, and they're trustworthy, it would still be a heavy maybe. I don't own half the boys. This was our (me and Sarah's) project and she dropped it. No one new should have to pick up the slack of her characters. And besides, I'm an absolutely unforgiving bitch to work with so the rumours have it. You wouldn't last a month. I DO, however, appreciate the offers. However, if you're a bloody amazing artist with insanely mad skills too good for anyone to ever pass up AND you have what many with that much of a creative streak lack (ie. dependability, all creatives lack it to some degree) it's probably not going to happen.
BUT If Subby continues in written form and you want to illustrate a scene, go right ahead. If not my undying love, you might get it posted when the chapter goes up. ^_^

3. Will Subby continue?
As a comic? Not unless for some reason the artist and I start dating again. Ask her for that one.
Written?
Well, there's the rub. *sigh*
I asked the artist if she'd enter a compromise with me over her characters. For my reasons, I didn't want her posting art of her half of the Subby characters while I was writing the story. I asked if she'd hold off posting her characters from the story until it was completed. Seeing as how she hasn't done any original character art in nearly a year outside of this comic, I didn't think it would be a problem. My reasoning was that if I was putting off my own book and using my spare time to write, edit, and outline Sublunary as a novel then I wanted to, maybe selfishly, actually have the credit for it without the fact that 'over in Sarah's gallery she has a GORGEOUS picture of *insert char here* Everyone go look!!!' rubbing it in. I've taken the brunt of the insults and the threats and the flames and the 'punishment' for this comic, and if I'm the sole person continuing it I'd like the oppourtunity for it to be my project. Just my project alone for however long it'd take me to finish it were I writing every day. I know she has gorgeous art, and yeah, it'd be better as a comic than a novel. I know a novel would lose a lot of readers really quickly. She wasn't drawing them anyway, and she has 40 other characters of her own she can draw, I never said I didn't want her to draw them, I just didn't want her to post them until the last chapter of Sublunary had gone up. If I'm the only one putting work into this I would, maybe irationally, like to be the only one getting credit for it. I'm probably being a bitch in this regard, I know.
Anyone who's ever RP'd will know what it's like to have characters break up. As it stands, if Subby is to continue I will have to write roughly ten couples that I know, in my head, are not together anymore and pretty much never will be again. I understand most people will think it's no big deal, but I know some readers are RPers and might understand just how difficult that might be. And no, I cannot rewrite it to not include them without changing everything and having to rewrite the first comicked chapters. I'd like to get the chapters out and done and finish the story in as little time as possible so I don't have to touch her boys anymore, because it's hard.
Despite that she's not drawing them anyway, and hasn't drawn them in ages, she didn't agree to the idea I had of not posting them publicly until the writing was done. She didn't offer any suggestions either. So...I'm going to have to work around that.

Now I don't want to hear how much of a bitch I am for thinking the above, or asking such and such, etcetera. I'm probably whining too, come to think of it. Once you've spent over two years of your life on something like this with another person, and three years with that person, and then had to do that partnership entirely on your own...well, you might know how I feel. I probably am being a bitch, but I'm at least trying to see some solutions to the problems. If anything else, remember I'm making absolutely zilch off of this...but if stress were pennies I'd be richer than the queen. ^_^;;

-------------------------------

So, since I'm positively sick and tired of trying to work out some ideas on how to not only make myself go through the pain of doing this because yes, I want to finish it and yes you DO deserve the full story, and yes it'll hurt like hell but not everything in life can be easy, right? Anyway, since all of the above, and that I'm not getting suggestions from the other side, I'm asking if any of you have suggestions maybe as a solution to some of my problems. One solution is below. I'd love to hear others.

-One idea I have had suggested to me by someone who knows a bit more about what's going on is that I could possibly start charging for the chapters. Their reasoning is that Sarah's making money off of the art and the publicity that Subby has given her (and good to her for it.) so I should be able to do the same. Sublunary has a paypal account and, instead of donating for a wallpaper, you'd be donating for a Chapter. I can only do max two chapters a month without killing myself, so there'd be a monthly cap. Something like $20-$30 total donations for a chapter was suggested.

--Now, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the idea of people paying for chapters because I just KNOW people are going to get all up in arms over it. But Subby does have a TON of readers, and if 60 readers donated fifty cents a month it wouldn't be a big deal. or 60 readers could donate one cent, etc. I want to ask you guys what YOU think about this. Do you think that it's a fair suggestion? Do you think that price is fair? Do you have a better price, a better idea?

Every opinion counts, so please don't hesitate to post. I'd rather you be polite, but that might be a bit much to ask for...so at least be civil?
Thanks to those of you sticking around. I'm trying to figure this out as best I can, sorry it's taking so long.

Comic status [26 Jan 2006|04:32pm]
Sorry to be the barer of bad news, but Sublunary is dead. With the artist's permanent withdrawal there's little I can do to keep it going. I have things to deal with over this as well, so no, it's not all about all of your disappointment. I'm not taking a break for 'fun' or 'life' and it's not exactly a break.

The comic will NOT be continued, ever, barring some absolute freak act of nature. I have a few buttons left to figure out uses for, but beyond that *shrug* Nothing. As it stands, I am not up to writing even my own work, letalone this. I hate leaving stories unfinished however, absolutely despise it, so it'll be finished in one way or another sometime. Don't bother me about it. It's ME doing the work, by myself, and it's not fun in the slightest. I swear, and I'm not kidding, one more death threat and the entirty of the comic will come down. I do NOT have to deal with that.

Besides, who ever actually expected it to come to a conclusion? Too much work.

I'll do what I can, when I'm able. Till then...leave me alone. This journal will be updated if there are any changes at all. There won't be for some time, but stick to it if you like.

NEW URL [28 Dec 2005|03:23am]
Sublunary has changed its URL. We are now located at http://sublunary.comicgen.com

Please update your links ^_^

Keenspace itself switched names, so as far as I know, ALL of the keen comics will be changing to this new URL. Nothing I myself can do about it, I did grow kind of attached to 'keenspace' but hey, go with the flow. Doing that a lot lately.

SO...yeah...I've changed all the urls around so everything SHOULD work perfectly fine. If it doesn't, politely let me know through comments here so I can fix it. This is of course, things that weren't already going wrong from before XD

New Years is coming up! Year of the dog! Down with th year of the rooster, and up with year of the dog! (I'm a tiger ^_^)

Merry Nondenomonational Holiday! [23 Dec 2005|03:30pm]
No news on the fate of the comic, I'm sorry to say. However, as I still appreciate the fans and all they've done for us, especially those not whining about the comic not updating, I did a little Xmas (or other celebrated holiday) gift for you guys.

It's not Torso-art, and it's not a comic page, and it's not particularly excellent, but it's still something, and I hope you like it.

[10 Nov 2005|11:30pm]
For those sticking around and wondering if there's a mailing list, etc...Well, not yet there isn't. BUT there is this LJ, which will be periodically updated with news on what's going on and what we're deciding and what we're doing and, you know, LJ stuff related in some way to Subby. SO just up and friend the LJ if you want to know what's going on in the future.

Thanks for all of your support, we just need a bit of a break right now. Whether or not that break becomes permanent is out of my hands, so everyone just sit tight until things cool down.

Sarah is currently going through exams, moving out, work, and general stress.

I'm going through exams, work, general stress, and writing a novel I plan to make into a series of books which I will ideally have published one day.

Right now I'm working on book 1/4 in one of the planned series in the world I've created. It's fantasy, but does involve a few Subby characters in a new universe (not their original one, no, but another they've been plopped into).

Current Cast:
Oliver
Cerin
Talis
Cards
Eekie

And a few people I'm quite familiar with that not many of you are.

Sarah and I have also been kicking around the idea for a manga submission after Subby is finished (in comic version or text version, whatever happens) so once I finish the first book I might start writing up a story for a manga to be submitted in actual deadtree format from TokyoPop. Who knows.

Anywho, you're all wonderful people and thank you for a general lack of 'YOU SUCK FOR QUITTING!!1! I HATE YOU!!11!' messages that I kind of feared/expected. We're still here, we haven't left and haven't abandoned you. We just need a break.

There are some amazing fics in the forums if anyone needs a fix and hasn't been there to look. The link is in the menu at the side.

Thanks all!

The Comic [04 Nov 2005|06:20pm]
[ mood | crushed ]

I've got some news for everyone, so I'll just get right to it.

At the end of this chapter, there is no more Sublunary. Call it an indefinate hiatus, cal it quitting, whatever. It's not going to be here as far as those who are involved know. If we chanmge our minds, you'll be the first to find out.

We've gone for a very very long time without missing a single update, actually since the comic began. We've been doing this on top of our life, our school, and our relationship. It's about time that it stopped taking over our lives, since it's not as fun as it used to be, and not more important than some other aspects.

You can complain all you want, I know a few people at least will. Rest assured we want to end this less than ANY of you do. This was something I myself have put a lot of time, effort, work, strength, tears, everything into. Something I've sacrificed a hell of a lot for. It hurts me that it's ending more than any of you. I can't speak for Torso, but I'm pretty positive she feels the same.

So what will we do? No idea.
If after a rest we've decided to get back to it, we will start updates slowly, probably once a week. We might move to twice. I don't know.
If we decide not to, I'll probably write a summery of the rest of the story, at the VERY least. If I have the time/energy/fan attention I might be persuaded to type it out in a novel form. I'm not sure, since right now I'm trying to work on my own novel series. I have't really had time to write or draw anything at all outside of this ^_^;; and my writing isn't very good anymore becuase of it, I think. If we decide not to continue and enough people want it though, I'll make an attempt. Maybe a chapter a month or something. It would let me put a lot more exposition in then a comic...cause you just can't spend 6 months explaining all the details without losing people. Six hundred words? A little easier.

So...yeah. It's been a good run. I honestly hoped to finish this. I don't want to leave it, it might sound emotional and all but after this much time and effort on a project you get really attached but this is probably for the best.

And yes, I'm quite aware this is a horrible cliffhanger to leave you all with. Maybe if we continue it'll make you come back? For the most part you've been wonderful fans. This turned out more popular than I think either of us expected. You're welcome to keep drawing us art and writing us fics, we still adore it. It might even give us a push in a few months if we look back and see you haven't all left.

In conclusion, you've been great. The comic has had its ups and downs, and caused many, but it's something we're proud of. I want to be able to continue it, we both do I think, but I'm not sure it's the best thing right now. Thank you ALL for your support and gifts and time and attention and everything. You can't even begin to understand how it makes us feel to know that there are people everywhere who are willing to enjoy and spend time on something we put out. Thank you, and for now I suppose this is goodbye.

---

I figure Torso should add something as well.

I, too, apoligize for the fact this comic is ending. I wish I could find the drive to keep everything in my life in order to the point needed to keep the comic going consistantly, but I can't. I have too much piling on me, and it's slowly sucking the life out of me. Once I have everything in order, I hope I'll be able to pick it up again.

If I can't, and Reena does put the comic in a novel form, I'll see if I can make a few illustrations to accompany some of the chapters. Bad news is they'd be less frequent then my actual comic updates, but they will be full color images, which will be much more detailed then most of my comics. I just can't find the time to make them that good.

Hopefully everything will work out, since I hate having to pull Reena and all you into my problems. Goodbye, but I hope it won't be forever.

Going...bloody...insane
*dies*
Yes, it's that time of year for University students everywhere: midterms.

Add to that the fact that this year both your artist and writer are doing them, and your dear, crazy, odd little stressball of a writer is doing Nanowrimo again...and well *cough* we're both stressing right now.

What does this have to do with you lot? Not much actually, just giving you a heads up. We're good for comics, but if Keen mucks up we're going to be a bit busy and just MIGHT not be able to fix it right away. We'll do our best. Please do yours to be nice and respectful while we try and slog through this huge workload, and listen to your resident Mod, Clover, in our absence, as she speaks through us.

And if you'd like to make us slightly happier little stressballs, feel free to donate to us through paypal using the button located on the upper right of the screen, or in a few posts prior to this one. You'll get a nifty-gorgeous wallpaper exclusive to donators for your troubles...just forgive us if you have to wait a few days for it ^_^;;

Yes, thank you to everyone IMing, emailing, and yelling at me -.o I'm quite aware the comic hasn't updated. I do frequent the site. It's nice to know the fans are watching though, but rest assured I know so you can all stop letting me know ^_^;;
As I've mentioned on the tagboard a few times, I'm doing my best to get the comic up, but there's a slight problem:

Keenspace is switching servers, or somesuch, and on Oct 2nd there was a huge crash. Anyone doubting this will notice few other Keen comics have updated and that it says so right on their site. Unfortunatly, this means it's out of my control. You're all going to have to be patient with Keen until they get it sorted out. I've tried a manual update, but the queue hasn't moved since this morning, we're still 5243 or something in line.

Summery: Wait wait wait. Till then, look at sex. If you don't like it, then...I don't know. Popular consensus is that if you don't like it you can make a big stink on the tagboard. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't however. ^_^;;

[ music | gles - Hotel California ]

Well, since I, your writer, have been carted off to my new University residence for a second year of hell...er...glee...I'm just going to point out that my internet is spotty until the 12th of this month, so if anything should go wrong DO have some PATIENCE because I will fix it as soon as I can ^_^

Also, once again pointing out the new donation wallpaper, featuring a shower scene between two SLATE boys. Donation button in previous LJ post or in upper right corner of site. ^_^

Well, CNAnime went off without the usual con stresses for once. Pleased to say that not only was the con wonderful (unusually so, for CN) but we made a nice profit. Thanks to all the fans who bought prints, buttons, and bugs from us. Especially our guest girl from England, Lelian? Sorry if I've spelled your name wrong dear. You're adorable, do come back and visit XD Clover, Sats, Zaria, Morea, and everyone else who made appearances whose name escapes me. And Clover? Cupcakes? Awesome.

So~ what do all the non-con attendees get from us upon our return? Well, we just so happen to have FINALLY updated our donation wallpaper. You have no idea how long we have been working on this one -_- off and on, off and on, just so busy getting normal comics done and all. Well, now we have a fun shower scene between two of our SLATE team members. Nothing explicit, but a bit of teasing, safe for the family. Click the link on the upper right corner of the page, or click the link below.

Both your writer and artist have -interrupted by telemarketer- *rawr*

*cough* Both your writer and artist have returned from their respective vacations. Unlike her, I was doing something useful during mine ^_^ the result will be some new and (what I think it) original merchandise for the upcoming convention. So far I have yet to see this exact type of product sold anywhere at Anime conventions...
And they're -interupted again- *RAWR* they're all hand-made and were a bit fiddly, but I'm pleased with the end result.

If you want a little hint as to what they are, check out an interview I was asked to give for Keenspace's newsletter.Newsletter Here ^_^

Thanks for all the offers for help. Fortunatly I've gotten the job taken care of by one of the many volunteers. Don't worry, I've got records of everyone elses' names, so you've all just condemned yourself to possible future help XD

In all seriousness, thanks for the responses. Picks people up when they know there are others willing to do boring coding for them. The newly coded pages will be up soon, sometime this week maybe. There's a bit of hassle since people are taking vacation trips and whatnot, but I hope to get around to it.

A few updates:
- The gallery has a batch of new fanart, go peruse at your liking.
- The archive page actually works now
- Links out have been cleaned up a bit
- Just incase you didn't see before, the forum was fixed.

Now...who wants to do Sublunary a favour? Not a huge one, but a basic knowledge of html and some spare time is required. IM me (my SN for AIM can be found via my profile in the forum) or leave your SN here if you're interested. Serious offers only -.o
